About this session
LAs in secondary school have to adapt to a wide variety of lessons and student needs. They are a valuable resource and provide the most effective support for students when working an integral team member.
This session provides practical strategies, top tips and an opportunity to discuss and reflect on good practice in Secondary settings.
We will explore expected standards, professional working, scaffolding support, questioning, independence, co-production, co-assessment and use of school systems to ensure students access their learning.
We will also explore strategies and responses to support students with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs. We will look at ways to incorporate strategies and provision written within learning plans into active support.
