About this session
Do you have a child or children that you support that find independent work difficult?
Are you always having to prompt them to begin a task?
Can they often lose interest and rarely get to the end of a task?
This session explores barriers to independent learning and why children can become dependent on adult support.
You will learn effective strategies that can be implemented to support a young person to do things for themselves within a classroom environment.
As a result of this training, you will be empowered to provide a more effective support model.
